Life Drawing

I feel good about this body of work. I feel like I have displayed different medias in which I like to work, for example film, photography, illustration and painting. I think that it is clear that I prefer to work digitally base, working on my photography. Some comments that I have previously received concern the lack of colour that I have in my work. I think I have really tried to work on this over the different projects and I am happy with the progress I have made in this area. I still enjoy working in monochrome and in some circumstances it is more effective if I do, but it is important to also consider colour and its important role. It is apparent here that I much prefer to work in a digital format than in 3D, however I have tried to incorporate elements of this into my project. For example creating a pattern digitally on photoshop, repeating it and printing it in multiples to then create garments on a stand. Illustration definitely isn't my preferred media to use however attending a life drawing taught me not to focus too much on it and that the best work is usually the one with more imperfections.
